Sustainability and luxury hospitality might initially seem contradictory but as attitudes and concepts have changed with time, there’s a renewed focus on the importance of eco-credentials expected from luxury properties; both large and small. No longer simply representative of an effort to recycle and reduce waste, today’s idea of sustainable luxury represents a multifaceted approach to running a property including carbon offset schemes, local outreach initiatives and guardianship of biodiversity.
